Propulsion Lethargy

The ants don’t seem to notice
They continue in their industrious many-legged strides
Heading to solemn purpose
Across dusty paving stone, sun-scorched lawn and Biro-flecked page.

My aim is clearer:
To recover and renew
To discover comforting patterns in the void
To rework the threads currently hanging loose about mind and body.

Stepping forward
Not looking back.

New Orleans no.1

Jenga in the hotel lobby
Brass bands in the street
Towers get built up to the sky
And knocked down on repeat

There’s plenty of conflict
And an ongoing war
But here the hand grenades
Are for throwing from bar to the floor

The Road is Always Open

???????????????????????????????

Everyone’s pathway remains clear
Despite tripping from the past and the not so dear
There’s always a way out of every structured blip
A tried and tested factor of the existential flip
The road is always open

The road is always open
Despite elemental damage and non-obvious design
There is always a  flicker that acts as passage-sign
An allowance of journey that can regulate goals
An onward quest past inward and outward trolls of the soul

Leaving a place can be a strange feeling. I’ve certainly felt that in the last few weeks. We leave Berlin for Italy next week, and are just sorting the last few things out over here…
The road is indeed open.

World MS Day… update and all that jazz…

Image

So, apparently today is World MS Day

Not sure why today was chosen but hey, any way to increase knowledge about the condition I happen to have been diagnosed with is something I suppose…

In my own personal terms, I’ve been on the old Tecfidera for over a month now and no real problems. Feeling positive about moving cross Europa (er, by plane) to Italia in a month or so. Also been busy on a musical project which will see the light of day very soon…so hold onto your headpiece…
