Party Problem

There’s a problem with the party

There’s a problem with the crowd

They’re plugging up the washboard

And drowning out the sound

They’re looking through the mirror

And finding nothing there

No one begs to differ

‘Cos no one really cares

There’s a problem with the party

There’s a problem with this crowd

They wanted something different

But couldn’t turn it round

They’re smashing up the scenery

And speaking doubletalk

They’re looking to the next one

And drawing lines in chalk

There’s a problem with the party

There’s a problem with this crowd

No memory brings repeats

And plays it super-loud

They’re gesturing to demons

And getting into debt

They’re mixing up their poisons

And feeling twice the threat

There’s a problem with the party

And there’s a problem with this crowd
